Pulau Belitung pernah menjadi destinasi wisata favorit sejak meledaknya novel karya Andrea Hirata berjudul Laskar Pelangi tahun 2005 dan menyusul diputarnya film Laskar Pelangi tahun 2008. Meskipun euforianya telah berlalu, tapi Belitung tetap menarik buat dikunjungi. Selain tak terlalu jauh dari Jakarta, terbang ke Tanjung Pandan hanya 50 menit, objek wisatanya juga variatif, tak hanya pantai, dan ada yang sudah dilengkapi fasilitas modern, seperti Bukit Peramun. Lokasinya di Desa Air Selumar Kecamatan Sijuk Kabupaten Belitung.
Berawal dari kata “Peramuan”, area yang merupakan perpaduan hutan dan bebatuan granit berukuran besar ini telah dimanfaatkan masyarakat untuk tempat tinggal sementara dan kekayaan floranya digunakan untuk meramu obat. Puncak Bukit Peramun juga sangat berjasa sebagai tempat memata-matai kapal musuh yang datang dari arah Laut Cina Selatan dan Natuna.
Highlight tempat ini ada di atas bukit yakni berupa dua batu granit kembar dengan celah di tengahnya. Konon jika kita berdiri di tengah batu ini dan kedua tangan dapat menggapai kedua batu tersebut, maka jodoh atau momongan bagi yang telah menikah akan segera terkabul. Kalau yang mau mencoba dan membuktikan silakan saja ya.
Sepanjang perjalanan menyusuri hutan dan trekking menanjak demi mencapai lokasi dua batu granit raksasa ini Trippers akan dibuat terkagum-kagum melihat kecanggihan bukit ini yang telah memiliki papan informasi digital yakni QR Code. Cukup scan QR Code dengan HP yang kita bawa maka informasi tentang pohon, tempat, dll dapat dibaca dengan mudah.
